Mr J. C. Akbuckle reports having sold privately during the week fifty shares in the Lammerlaw Antimony Mining 00. (Limited) for £100. The Local Industry Croldminiug Go.'s shares are in good demand at from par to small premium. Mr John Thompson reports that his monthly sale, held yesterday afternoon, was very -well attended by buyers. Over 2000 sheep were yarded and sold at the following prices : — Fat sheep, 12s 6d to 14s 7d ; crossbred ewes, 9s lOd to 10s 9d ; cross- , bred wetheis, 10s to 12s ; merino ewes, 4s . lambs, 6s 9d to 10s lOd. Cattle : Thirty' head were sold. Fat cattle brought from £4 to £4 10s ; milch cows, £3 10s to £5; yearlings, 22s 6d; two and three-year-old j steers, £2 10s to £4 7s. Pigs : Forty pigs were sold Store pigs brought 16s; suckers, 6s to 10s. Horses : The demand for horses ! was anything but brisk, only a few light J draughts changing hands.
