Messrs Mobitzsok ahd Hopkin, grain produce, and commission agenta, Mansestreet, Dunedin, report for the week ending October 2nd as follows : — WEOIBSAIiB BSPOBT. Wheat : Market unaltered j best Tuscans 3s 7d to 3s 8d ; other sorts, 3s 3d to 3a 5d Fowls' wheat ; in fair demand ; good whole 2b 10(1 to 33. Barley : Very sluggish, and quotations nominal ; malting, 3s 6i to 3a 8d ; milling, 2s 84 to 33 2d. Oats : This market has almost gone to pieces, and are freely offered from Is 10d for fair feed up to 2s 2d per bushel. Best milling, 2a 3d to 2s 4d. We quitted some lines at 2s to 2a 2i for feed. Flour : Timaru roller, £9 ss ; O unaru, £8 10s ; Southern and town brands, £8 to £8 10s. Oatmeal : Long ton in bulk, £12 10a ; 25's, £12 10s. Bran, £3 ss. Sharps, £4 ss. Potatoes : Oamaru, good quality, £4 10s to £4 15s ; Southern, £4 ss. Pigs : Well-fed up to 1801 b, 4d to 4id. Chaffs Well-cut heavy oaten. £3 10a t" £3 15a ; light and inferior, £2 15s to £3. Turnips, 17s. Oarrots, 40s. Straw, oaten and wheaten, 40s Hay, oaten, 70a. Clover and ryegrass hay, 70s. Butter ; Best salt butter, 5d lo 6d per lb, at which figure we have quitted a lew hundred packages. Honey, 4id to 4£d. Uheese : Factory, 5d to s£d ; Akaroa, 4 1 to 4£d. Hams and bacon: Hams, 8d to 91; rolls ttmd flitches, 6d to 6Jd. Grass Seeds; Ryegrass, 3s to 7s ; cocksfoot, 2|dl to 3sd, Clovers, turnips, &c, on application.
