TN pursuance of "The Countieß Act, 1876," ,-r and amendments thereof, and of the " llegulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," I, John Joseph Woods, Returning Officer for Gabriels Riding, Tuapeka County, do hereby give notice that an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as Councillor of the Tuapoka County Council for Gabriels Riding, and that ' tho nomination of Candidates will be received by me at the Schoolhouse, Blue Spur, till 12 o'clock noon on SATURDAY, Bth AUGUST, 1885, and that a Poll (if necessary) wili be taken on SATURDAY 22nd AUGUST, 1885, at the Schoolhouses at Blue Spur and Wcthcrstones, between tho hours of 9 o'clock a.m. and 6 o'clock p.m. JOHN J.
