FULFILLED PROPHECIES.

Some few months ago wo published a number of predictions made in Zadkiel's Almanack for the yuar. We then looked upon tho prophecies as rather funny reading. We had long ago forgotten all about them, but the other day came across an account of how many had been fulfilled. On the 2nd January the authorities were told to be on their guard against, Fenian outrages ; the dynamite explosions on the underground railway at King's Cross occurred on that date. The same month it was announced that the ruler of Germany would experience some danger or trouble ; on the 19th January the Emperor William was taken ill. In February, earthquakes would take place, and Vienna would feel the shock ; on February 26fch there were earthquakes in Hungary. "In Canada and the United States martial proceedings will be the order of the day ; " March was the time of Reil's rebellion. In March it was prophesied there would be fighting in Afghanistan, and " warlike acts against the power of the country are to be apprehended ; " on March 30th Komaroff defeated the British allies, the Afghans, at Penj-deh. April was to be marked "by intense political excitement in England, and increase of her army, money market suffers, and fluctuations may be confidently anticipated ; " there was great excitement owing to Russia's action in Afghanistan, there was the announcement of tho immediate increase of forces, and on April 9th there was a panic on tho Stock Exchange. We have only space to add that the downfall of the Gladstone Ministry was predicted for the very month on which it took place. — Exchange.
