S. O'Brien's form at CJrookston, which, after spirited competition, fell to Mr Bimon Reid, at £8 5s per acre. Mr O'Brien's howes realised good prices— up to £24 10s ; cows up to £6 ; reaper and binder, £51 ; reaper, £20 10s. Drays, ploughs, harrow?, and other agricultural implement?,' ii'ouse"-" hold furni'ure, &c, also found ready buyers i at fair prices.— During the week, Messrs \rbuckle, Robertson and Co. hare sold privately about 1200 merino ewes and ctoss-' bred lambs. Report for the week ending Friday, 20th Februaty : — The week's transactions hare not sbown any improvement on the proceeding one, doubtless owing to the continuance of favorable 1 weather, as farmers profiting from the experience of former jears, do not care to leave harvesting operations, which are being prosecuted with the utmost vigour, evidently preferring to out on the green eide rather than trust to ihe fickleness of the climate at this time of the year. Some very prime samples of wheat are now offering, hut the opening price is not yet definitly fixed, although for both wheat and oats tho tendency : is in a downward direction. Quotation^ to' date are as follow : — Wheat —Old wheat, tuscan, 2s lOd ; Hunter's and pearl, 3s to 3s 2d (f.o.b) ; uew, nominally, 2s 9d (f.0.b.) Oats.— Bright milliig, Is 9d to Is lOd j good feed, from Is 7d to Is 8d (f.0.b.)
