LOCAL SALES.
Messrs Abbucklb, Robertson and Co. report a fair attendance at their sale of atock on Thursday last. Our sales were— 4lo merino ewes, up to 7s 4d j 90 mixed ewes at 6s 7d ; 200 cross-bred wethers, at 11s ; rams, at 10s. We also sold a draft of fat sheep at 13s 6d ; and cross-bred lambs at 7s lOd. One lot of cross-bred wethers were passed in at lls 9d. Fat heifers brought £5 ss ; and milch cows, £5 10. A few light horses brought from £6 to £9.
