Messrs Stephenson and Co. report:— Wheat : We quote prime milling at from 3s 9d to 4s, bags included. Oats : For milling we quote 2s Id ; bright feed, Is lOd to 2s ; inferior and medium, Is 7d to Is 9d, bags included.
Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report: — Wheat : We quote prime white velvet and Tuscan 3s lid to 4s Id ; other sort?, 3s 9d to 3slod; chick feed, 2s 3d to 2s 9d. Oats: We hare sold nearly all to hand at — for mill" 1 ing, Is 10} dto 2s o*d ; best feed Is B£d to Is lOd — bar's extra.
Messrs Weight, Stephhnson, and Co. report :— Wheat : Values are nominally from 3s 9d to 4s per bushel (bags included) for ordinary to prime milling samples. Fowls' wheat is dull of sale at from. 2s 3d to 2s 9d. Oats : We quote prime milling at 2s Id to 2s 2d per bushel (sacks in), and good feed (short), 2b. Mr L. Maclean reports:— Wheat: My sales for the week hare been : 4000 bushels prime Tuscan and red chaff at 4s, and other descriptions (consisting of 2000 bushels) at 3s lOd — bags in each case included. Oats : I quote prime milling, 2s Id ; feed, Is lid to 2s ; inferior and medium, Is 8d to Is lOd — bags included. Mr Donald Stboitaoh reports .'—Wheat : There is very little new in the market, yet enough for the demand at the prices paid lately. Millers ar» only purchasing from hand to mouth, at from 3s 9d to 4s (bags in* eluded.) Oats : The demand for stout bright milling and feed is fair for shipment at — for milling, 2s Id ; feed, Is lid to 2s ; inferior and medium, in less demand, at from Is 8d to Is lOd (bags included.) Buyers won't bay any grain now if the bags are charged separately, but they do not object to l|d per bushel extra pub ou the graiu,
