Mr DOM^U) Stbonach reporlss— Wheat: There is not much offering as yet, but quite enough for the demand, aa neither millera nor shippers are inclined to operate to any extent in the meantime, preferring to wait, anticipating lower prices. Until threshing becomes general, and growers are in a position to deliver, quotations will only be nominal. Oats are onlj in modi rate request, »nd lower prices are offerer 1 . Messrs Weight, Stbphenson, and 'Co* report ;— WWhe t: Since list week we have not made any sales of note, but sever il transactions in Oamaru grain have taken place, in parcels of 500 to 600 sacks, at 3s lOd for prime velvet, delivered in Dunedin (sacks included.) Outs: Our transac. ions tb is week have been at 2s Id for first-class milling delivered at Port Chalmers (sa<ks included), and at 2s for first-class feed. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report:— Wbeat : There is very little new crop coming forward as yet ; prices therefore are not established. Oats : We quote milling at Is lid to 2s Id ; feeding sorts are only occasionally sought after by local dealers, and sell at Is 8d to Is 10£ d. Barley : There is a brisk inquiry for malting sorts, but there is not' much coming in.
