Already 21,612 ft have been applied for. Wellington, November 22nd. The four official assignees under the Bankruptcy Act, along with the districts over which they preside, are gazetted as follows : — John Lawson, Northern ; Charles Christie Graham, Wellington and Nelson ; Edward Circuit Latter, Canterbury and Westland; James Ashcroft, Otago and Southland.
