IyTOTICE Is Hereby Given, that the Quarterly Licensing Court for the Licensing District of Lawrence will be held at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Lawrence, on TUESDAY, 6th SEPTEMBER, at Noon, for tho purpose of taking into consideration all applications for Certificates for such Licenses, as by the Licensing Act, 1873 Amendment Acts, 1874 .'and ,1875, are author! jsed to be granted by Licensing Courts ; and the Transfer or Removal or Renewal of such Licenses, of which twenty-one days' notice shall be given to the Clerk of the Licensing Court for the District in which the Premises in respect of which such application is made are situated. PUBLIC NOTICE Is Hereby Given, in accordance with the Public Works Act, 1880, that the Tuapeka County Council propose to close the following road — All that area of land containing 6a 3r (more or less), commencing at the south-east corner of Section 9, Block VII., Tuapeka WestW est District ; thence bounded by part of Section 9, Block VII., Sections 17, 16, 13, 12, Block IV., Sections in and 18, Block XL, Tuapeka West District, 13531 links; toward the east by a road-line, 52 links ; thence bounded by part of Section 24, and Section 25, Block XI., Section 14, Block IV., part of Section 10, Block VII., Tuipeka West District, 13468 links j towards the southeast by a road-line, 53 links j to tHe point of commencement, be all the aforesaid linkages (more or less.)
