Fire.— A few mornings ago the' Drapery Establishment of Messrs Thomson, Strong, and Co., bad a most miraculous escape from being burned down. The plaoe had been burning the whole 'night,' as no one was on the premises after the usual closing hour (six o'olook.) About six o'olook in the morning the fact was discovered. The fire-bell gave the alarm, part of the brigade was soon on the ground, and what would shortly have been a serious conflagration was promptly got under.
