LAWRENCE TOWN COUNCIL.
The Council met on Wednesday, the Ist of April. Present : the Mayor ; and Councillors Robertson, Aimers, and Jeffery. The minutes of previous meeting were read ond confirmed. The specifications for formation of footpath on north side of Ross Place were then read, received, and adopted. Moved and seconded, "That tenders be called for the formation of footpath in Ross Place, in accordance with specifications. " — Carried. Councillors Jeffery and Aimers, inspectors of the work in connection with the water scheme, brought up a report in reference to the same. — Received. Councillor Robertson suggested that Mr. Murray be requested to extend the reservoir to the amount of puddling that would have been required had it been necessary. Finance Report No. 4, £237 14s. Moved and seconded, " That Finance Report No. 4 be received and adopted." — Carried. The meeting then closed.
