Further labour trouble occurred at Lyttelton this morning with the railway hands, who were put on at 8 a.m. to work the Canterbury Steam Ship Company’s vessel Storm. Work started at 8 and continued till about 9.30, when the railway hands refused to continue until a man had been put on to look after the cards. At noon the services of the watersiders were dispensed with, and the vessel will lie idle for the remainder of the day.
