Sir Frederick Maurice informed the British Legion Conference that he had keen in telephonic conversation with the Prince of Wales, who was delighted to learn of the vote of confidence in the executive. Fie had also communicated with Prince George at Sandringham and Prince George was endeavouring to attend the meeting later, but this would entail a journey across England and it might not be possible. The delegates cheered the news wildlv and sang “ God Bless the Prince of Wales.”
