As it is considered that the Riccarton Municipal Library has outgrown its present quarters. the Borough Council, at its next meeting, will consider plans for a library to be built upstairs, with the present library as an entrance hall leading to the stairs and a direct door to the street. The library has 240 subscribers, who pav only 7s 6d for a 3'ear’s reading, and 3400 books.
