500 MORE PLANES FOR ROYAL AIR FORCE. British Defence Policy. PLANS COMPLETED TOR BETTER PROTECTION. United Press Assn.— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received Mav 21, 10 40 am.) LONDON. May 20. The political correspondent of the “ Sunday Graphic ” says that the Air Ministry has completed plans for three new military aerodromes. It will also enlarge existing drornes to accommodate more squadrons as part of the I preparations, which Mr Baldwin foreshadowed in the House of Commons. The “ Sunday Chronicle ” declares that the Air Ministry contemplates increasing the Air Force by 100 bombers and 400 interceptor fighters. It wants ! aerodromes alongside each large port and naval base, and also near the big ! chemical and steel centres.
