DANCE AT ROLLESTON.

A successful carnival dance was held in the Rolleston Alemorial Hall recently to augment the funds for painting the hall. The hall was artistically decorated with coloured streamers and greenery. A spotlight, streamers and novelties added to the enjoyment of the occasion. Several visitors from Christchurch and representatives from all the surrounding districts were present. The music was supplied by the BurgessSerra Band, extras being played by Miss L. Thomson and Miss I. Davison. Lucky spot waltzes were won by Aliss D. Burgess and Air Reg Rusbatch and Air and Airs Wittee. The winners of a Alonte Carlo were Aliss Huston and Mr Al’Crory.
