In an attempt to secure the establishment of a sub-branch post office, business men whose premises adjoin the shopping area near the intersection of Coronation Street and Selwyn Street, Sprevdon. have circulated a petition which will be ready lor presentation to the authorities by the beginning of next month. At the request of the of* ! ficials sponsoring the petition, which has already been signed by forty-four j business men, the Spreydon and Ad- : dington Burgesses’ Associations, and a | number of householders, an inspection j of the area was recently carried out j by an official of the Post and Tele, l graph Department.
