Inclusion in N.Z. Team Proposed. Per Pr*** Association. DUNEDIN, April 20. W . J. Jarvis made an attack on Noel Crump’s New Zealand record of 55 1-5 sec for 100 yards at the Municipal Baths last night. Although unsuccessful, his time of 56 l-osec is the fastest e\er done in the Dominion in fresh water. Crump’s record having been established in salt water baths at Auckland. The Otago Swimming Centre has decided to renew its representations to the New Zealand Council with respect to the inclusion of Jarvis in the Dominion team for the Empire Games, and is prepared to undertake to find the necessary* r * in Dunedin.
