Carnegie Representative Arrives. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 20. Mr Ralph Munn, director of the Carnegie Library at Pittsburgh, U.S.A., arrived to-day to make a survey of New Zealand's library system on behalf of the Carnegie Corporation, at the request of the Libraries Association of New Zealand. Mr Munn said that Mr Andrew Carnegie left 10,000.000 dollars to be spent in the British Dominions. Large sums had been spent in South Africa and ( anada, but so far little had :ome to New Zealand and Australia. His tour would occupy a month, and he intended to pay special attention to small town and country libraries. He then make a similar survey in Australia.
