REDUCED IN GRADE.

Buller Hospital’s Altered Status. Per A snortutfnn. WESTPORT, April 18 Notification was received at a meeting of the Buller Hospital Board last night that the hospital has been reduced to B grade. Several members took strong exception to the regrading, mentioning that many highly qualified nurses had been trained in the Buller Hospital. Under the new grading, trainees would he required to finish off the last six months in an A grade institution at the B grade hospital’s expense. Members cosidered that the higher grades would benefit by cheap nursing from time to time and might do away with some of the usual staff.
