N.S.W. Farmers Desert Their Homes. TOWNS INVADED BY WATERS. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right. (Received April 16, 11.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 16. Following torrential rain on the south coast, seriou s washaway's ‘ have occurred both on the Prince’s Highway and the main railway line. Traffic on both has been suspended. Flood warnings have been issued to the south coast and tableands, and communication with the south coast towns below Kiama has been severed. All the low-l\'ing land between Kiama and Nowra is flooded. Bridges in the Eden district have been washed away-. Farjmers in the Mouruya district have deserted their homes. Floods and washaways are also reported from the Grafton and Dorrigo districts in the north. The flood waters have invaded Casino, and pedertrian traffic in the business centre has been cut off, the footpaths being submerged to a depth of eighteen inches. Traffic to outlying parts has been suspended by' a sharp rise in the creeks.
