UNIVERSITY HARRIERS.

Members of the Varsity Harriers’ Club held the first run of the season on Saturday afternoon. The trail was laid from the Ozone Cafe, North Beach, by P. M. Jowett and J. M. Steeds. The twenty members present at the run were entertained by the committee to afternoon tea at the Ozone Cafe. The trail was about four and a half miles in length, and the running resulted as follows: Slow Pack—E. J. Lynskey 1, H. Ross 2, E. H. Carew 3. ' Fast Pack—W. W. P. Hursthouse and | R. D. £>mith equal 1, P. D. Hewland 3.
