Girl Clerk Chases Man in Sydney. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SY’DNEY’, April 15. A clerk. Miss Elsa Gregorsen, yesterday was banking her empioy'er’s money, a sum of £295, at a city bank when a man struck her on the head with a piece of hose-pipe and snatched the money and attempted to escape. The girl screamed, but seized the man’s arm, and the money' was dropped. She, however, continued the pursuit through the heavy traffic, a number of pedestrians joining in. Finally two traffic police closed with the thief and arrested him.
