OPIUM FOUND.

Police Reid on Chinese Premises. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 16. A raid on Chinese premises in the city on Saturday night uncovered a den in a cellar equipped for opium smoking. Men were on the premises smoking and a large quantity of opium was found. In the Police Court this morning the owner was charged with permitting smoking on the premises and was remanded. Ah Sue pleaded guilty to smoking prepared opium and was fined £ls.
