BANK APPOINTMENTS.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 13. Mr 11. A. Hannah, Wellington manager of tie Union Bank, has, owing to continued ill-health, retired on a pension. Mr Hannah, who joined the bank’s service at Ballarat in 1897, served in every State in Australia as well as New Zealand. To succeed Mr Hannah at Wellington the bank has appointed Mr E. T. Porter, who has been manager at Dunedin for the past four years. Mr W. Morrison, the present manager at Timaru, will succeed Mr Porter at Dunedin. Mr Morrison’s successor at Timaru will be Mr W. T. Irvine, at present Masterton manager. Mr J. G. S. S. Thompson, accountant at Gisborne, will be the new manager at Masterton.
