BRITISH OUSTED.
Italian Golf Federation Decision. ULTRA-NATIONALIST MOVE. United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received April 14, 11 a.m.) ROME, April 13. The Italian Golf Federation has gone ultra-Nationalist. Most of the golf courses in Italy and, indeed, throughout Europe, have been laid out by British experts, and British golf terms are used everywhere, even in the Continental newspapers. The Italian Federation. however, has now decided that only Italian words must be used, and no foreigner will be allowed to serve as president, secretary or committee man of a golf club, and non-Italian players will be forced to pay a special tax and obtain ;n identitv card before playing on Italian courses. Until recently every golf secretary in T'aly has been British, as still is the ca.'.e in most Continental clubs.
