LODGE MEETINGS.

A.D. Brother E. Thompson presided over the fortnightly meeting of the Mistletoe Lodge, U.A.O.D. The bards reported on sick brothers, and sick pay amounting to £ls 6s 8d was passed. Four new members were initiated. P.G., L.S.V.G. Brother A. E. Hayman (acting), F.S. Brother W. H. Larcombe, P.G., I.P.N.G. Brother A. H. Gibson. L.M. Brother A. Gow, P.G., Guardian Brother D. H. Manhire, P G., Warden Brother T. Martin and E.S. Brother W. G. Wigglesworth. The first sentiment was given by the N.G., and the second sentiment by the V.G. Dr Stewart Hunter applied for a position of lodge medical officer, and it was decided to write stating that, if any member wished to be put on his list, the lodge \vould be pleased to put his name on the list of medical lodge officers. A letter was received trom the secretary (Mrs H. B. Gourlay) of the R.U. Sports Club, inviting members to the annual meeting in the lodge City of Christchurch Lodge on Thursday. March 22. The doctors’ reports were received. Brothers K. McK. Yarrall, P.G., and the financial secretary reported on visiting sick brethren. Sick pay passed for payment amounted to £l6 19s 2d. Otlner accounts passed for payment totalled £4 18s 2d. It was decided that the lodge visit the Loyal Benevolent Lodge on Monday. April 9. Brother A. H. Gibson. 1.P.N.0., reported in detail on the U.F.S. Dispensary annual meeting. It was decided that degrees be given at next lodge night. Remits for the forthcoming conference were discussed. The receipts were £74 16s Sd. After the lodge closed, the ladies were entertained to flag 500. the winners being Brother and Mrs I. J. D. Gourley. V.G., and Brother A. E. Hayman.
