New Brighton District High School. Tile annual picnic of tlie New Brighton District High School was held in the Rawhiti Domain on Wednesday. The races resulted as follows: Girls' championship—Tsahel Pearson 1, June Midgley 2, Joan Tindall 3. Boys’ championship—Peter Norish 1, J. Sibron 2, David Sibron 3. Senior girls—June Midgley 1. Golden Rurnstein 2. Ngaire Cattermole 3. Senior hoys—J. Gibson 3. David Norish 2, H. F. Headley 3. , Junior girls—lsabel Pearson 1, Joan Tindall 2. Joyce Cattermole 3. Junior boys—B. Margetts 1, David Sibron 2. r. Bodger 3. Partner relay race—l-lawes 1, Sibron 2, Querie 3.
