CRICKET.

West in Unassailable Position. The last series of senior cricket matches for the season will commence to-morrow, and it is highly improbable that they Avill affect the present placing. West Christchurch, with 41 points, haA-e a lead of se\en from Riccarton and eight from Lancaster Park, so that unless West suffer an outright defeat their position cannot be altered. This time West ha\ r e to meet Old Boys, at Flaglev No. 1 ground. Old Boys have not been in good form this season, and the indications are that West will win. Their batting strength is too great for most of the bowling they have to face in club cricket. The other games are: Lancaster Park v. Old Collegians, at Rugby Park; St Albans v. Riccarton. at Hagiey No. 2; and East Christchurch v. Sydenham, at Lancaster Park. Umpires Appointed for To-morrow.
