ROUND THE DANCES.

Mrs Creagh’s orchestra will supply the music for the Scottish Society’s dance to-night. There will be lucky spot dances, with prizes. Supper will be provided. A dance will be held in the Railway Hall, Carlyle Street, on Tuesday. St Alary’s Young Alen’s Guild will hold a break-up dance in the Selwyn Street Hal! on Wednesday. The Canterbury West of England Society will hold a special request dance at the Orange Hall on Wednesday. In addition to dancing. items will be given. Chas. Buckott’s new gymnasium will be opened with a dance next Saturday. Gopperth’s band will provide the music. A fancy dress dance will be held in the Ambulance Hall, Peterborough St„ on Wednesday. Prizes will be awarded. The Athletes’ Dance Assembly will hold their weekly dance at Frascati on Monday. a special attraction will be a Caroline Bay carnival, with two free return trips to Timaru. This evening, at the Sydenham Football Hall, the Evans-Campbell band will provide the music for a dance. There will be six prizes for competiThe ninepenny old-time dance will be held on Wednesday next at the Ferry Road Hall. Bryson’s band .will supply the music. To-night, the Caledonian Assemblv will hold a dance In the Caledonian Hall. The features will be old and new dances, cash Monte Carlos, lucky spot, balloons and streamers. A good supper will be provided, and G, Bradford will supply the music. Flannels optional. At the Caledonian Hall on Monday evening a three-guinea waltzing competition will be commenced. The EvansCampbell band of eight players will be in attendance. The usual lucky spot and Alonte Carlo dances will be held. The gallery will be open for spectators. The Evans-Campbell band will provide the music for a shilling dance to be held next Wednesday at the iSyc’enram Football Hall.
