Arrested for burglary at the Single Profit Stores at Otautau, Eric Anthony Bulman, twenty-three years of age, made a dash for libertv but was recaptured after an exciting chase over a mile this morning. the way from the cells to the Court he made another dash, with the Police in hot pursuit. In the course of his run he attempted to leap over the Puni Creek but fell in and was recaptured. Appearing in wet and muddy clothes, he was remanded for a week and taken to the cells handcuffed to a detective.
