Bank of New Zealands seemed a shade easier and after a transaction at £2 7s lid, there were sellers at £2 Ss 2d, best buyers stopping at £2 7s 6d. Farmers’ Trading shares were in good demand, with buyers for ordinary shares at 3s, for A preferences at 14s 6d, and for B*» at 9s 9d. Mining shares were steady. Waihis were asked for at £1 6s 3d. There were no sellers. Grand Junctions improved and after a sale last night at 4s 6d, there were buyers this morning at that figure.
