R.S.A. ORCHESTRA.
After another year of work, a successful one. the Christchurch Returned Soldiers’ Association's orchestra, which held its annual meeting last evening, finds itself In a satisfactory financial position. Twenty-one concerts had been held, stated the annual report. A feature of the year was the orchestra’s appearance at the Anzac Day service. Officers were elected as follows: Conductor. Mr H. G. Glaysher: deputyconductor, Mr F. L. Woledge: secretary and treasurer. Mr F. L. Woledge: librarian, Mr J. E. O. Shearer: committee. Messrs A. IS. Hutton. H. Tankard. C. Stewart. G. R. Hay man and F. Ban field.
