CUSTOMS RESOLUTIONS.

To be Introduced in House To-night.

(Special to the “Star.”) WELLINGTON, November 2.

Confirming the Ottawa tariff resolutions, the Customs Amendment Bill will be introduced in the House to-night. It will be accompanied by other Customs resolutions, but it is understood that these have no significance, and refer to items of no importance which are considered to require adjustment.

The House devoted this afternoon to the second reading of private members’ Bills, starting with Mr H. G. R. Mason’s Marriage Amendment. Two Government measures, the Electoral Amendmen Bill and the Rent Restriction Bill, were introduced and read a first time.
