Heavy Burden on People at Denniston. (Special to tjie “ Star.”) WESTPORT, October S. The Hon W. MTntyre, chairman of the Buller Hospital Board, will arrive from Wellington this evening for the purpose of attending a general meeting of the Hospital Board. A rumour, unconfirmed, states that the advisability of closing down the Denniston Hospital will be discussed. Owing to the withdrawal of the Government subsidy, too big a burden has been placed upon residents of Denniston.
