Further Report from Analyst to be Obtained. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, October 8. To enable a more detailed report to be obtained from the Dominion Analyst with regard to the presence of poison in the abdominal organs of the deceased, the Coroner adjourned the inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mrs Elizabeth Beattie. Mrs Beattie died over three months ago. When the inquest was resumed this week the police stated that an analyst had reported the presence of 1.6 grains of poison. The police had been unable to discover how Mrs Beattie secured the poison.
