METROPOLITAN SHOW.
Valuable Prizes Offered This Year. Cash prizes and trophies competec for at the Metropolitan Show this rear, which will be held on the Show Grounds, Addington, on November 10 and 11, exceed £3OOO in value. To meet the times, the Canterbury A. and P. Association has made a reduction of 20 per cent in entry fees so that exhibitors this year will have a substantial concession. An excellent range of classes is provided in horses and other live stock and the sheep show at Christchurch exceeds that in numbers of any other show south of the Line. The entries this year are due on October 22.
