TRIPODS FOR ROSES.
These answer well for rambling and climbing sorts and are very effective in the centre of a rose bed or arranged alongside of a path, or as dot plants on a lawn. Put three stout, strong stakes around a good strong grower. Let the stakes be about ISin to 2ft apart at the base and tie them together at the top. The height may vary somewhat, but a good strong rambler will easily cover Bft or Oft. Twine the growths round the stakes, tying where necessary, and arrange so as to cover the stakes equally.
