DOUBLE PROGRAMME.
Two British Filins at Liberty To -morrow. r . - Chance” and “Working Girls will be shown at the Liberty ineatre for the last time to-night. The new programme at the Liberty Theatre to-morrow will include two fulllength British films—a thriller, “ Murder on the Second Floor ” and the com-edy-romance, “ Rich and Strange A graphic story of a young husband's discontent with his daily routine as a city business man, with the monotonous journey to and from the office and the nerve-wracking columns of figures which constitute his work, is unfolded in the British production, “ Rich and Strange Adapted from the story by Bale Collins, the picture takes an intriguing turn when the everyday couple suddenly become rich beyond their wildest dreams. They decide to tour the '\orld, and, with this theme for a basis, many colourful scenes of the Orient and Europe are presented in an interesting manner. On the trip they gradually d.ift apart, but eventually they come to realise the error of their ways, and a happy reconciliation is brought about. The production lias an accomplished cast of Players, Joan Barry and Henry Kendall taking the part of the voung couple and Betty Amann and Percy Marmont being the other central figures.
