the Canterbury branch of the Royal Empire Society has attracted a lai’ge number of entries from all parts of the Dominion. Entries closed on September .“JO, and the essays are now in the hands of the examiner, whose award and report w’ill be made public as soon as possible. The essayists are divided into two classes: Class A, for candidates sixteen and under nineteen years of age on September 30, 1932. Class B, for candidates fourteen and under sixteen years of age on September 30, 1932.
