PUBLIC TRUSTEE SUED.

A claim for commission amounting to £134 18s 6d against the Public Trustee, as administrator of the estate of John Hood, deceased, was heard in the Magistrate’s Court, before Mr H. A. Young, S.M., this morning. The plaintiffs were Roland Bull and George John Leech, both of Christchurch, land agents, who set out in their statement of claim that in December, 1930, they received instructions in writing from the defendant to sell a property belonging to the estate at Mount Somers. They duly sold the property and therefore claimed £134 18s 6d as their commission. (Proceeding).
