ANCIENT CITIES.

Bronze Age Towns Found in France. IMPORTANT FORTS UNEARTHED. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 16. 8.50 a.m.) MARSEILLES. August 15. Archaeological excavations on the Cavergne Plains revealed one of the most important historical areas in Europe, including the three ancient cities of Ileraclea, Rhodanoussia and Theline, with important ports where vessels called before sailing for Brittany, Ireland and Cornwall. Ruined houses, streets, reservoirs and waterpipes indicate that the district was the centre of the Bronze Age of civilisation.
