Colorado put up a fine performance to-day. After winling the second race, the Peninsula Handicap, by a neck, he ras penalised 36yds in the fifth race, the Ellesmere Handicap. )espite this, he was able to put in a great run in the straight, fter having been inconspicuous for the greater part of the ace, and beat Mountain Ore by a length. His running to-day tamped him as a much improved horse.
