LOUVAIN LIBRARY.

American’s Inscription Removed. BRUSSELS, June 3. The Latin inscription, “ Destroyed by German Fury; Rebuilt by American Generosity,” will not adorn the facade of the library of Louvain University, for the Supreme Court has decided against Mr Whitney Warren, the New York architect who sued Monseigneur la Deuze, rector of the university, claiming author’s rights in the inscription. The Court held that the inscription was unfair to’ the Germans.
