Lancashire v. Yorkshire. A match between teams representing Lancashire and Yorkshire was played at English Park yesterday. Even play marked the opening of the second half. Yorkshire set up an offensive and near the goal H. Stoneman dropped across a neat centre that M. Wilson headed home. Yorkshire 2, Lancashire 1. Lancashire swept upheld and L. Berry was prominent in an attacking movement that all but led to a goal. They tried again but the ball rebounded from the crossbar and then Yorkshire were once more to the fore. Lancashire returned to the attack and G. Walker scored an equaliser. Yorkshire 2, Lancashire 2. Lancashire still pressed and G.
