Overheated Oil Causes Fire. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 3. Through some oil becoming overheated a fire broke out in a shed on the roof of Perth Chambers, 19 Tory Street, at five o’clock this evening. The premises were used as an oil testing laboratory by Charles Robert Jones, manufacturer’s agent. H. M. Haley, superintendent of Trentham racecourse, received burns on the face and right hand in endeavouring to extinguish the flames, and A. Glastonbury, a fireman, injured his back when he fell downstairs. The flames were suppressed with little damage.
