Miss V. Hynes, Otahuna, has left on a visit to Rotorua.

Miss Rosamund Harper, ICarori, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Tripp, Orari Gorge, South Canterbury.

Mr and Mrs Maurice Macfarlane, North Canterbury, will return to-mor-row from a visit, to Dunedin.

The celebrated singer Galli Curci, who, with her husband, is shortly arriving in New Zealand, will appear in Christchurch on July 16 and 19. Mrs R. Wallace, of Rugby Street, left this week by the Monowai, for Australia, where she will remain on a holiday visit for about two months. Miss Veronica Ward, Manchester Street North, will leave Christchurch at the end of next month for Sydney, where she will join the Balranald for England.
