NEW GERMAN CABINET.
Only One Man with Previous Experience. United Press Assn.-—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 2 The Berlin correspondent of the “ Morning Post ” says that only one member of the new German Government under Captajn von Papen has had previous service in a German Government. He is Professor Warmbol, who was for three months Minister of Economic Affairs under Dr Binning. Dr Gurtner, who has been appointed Minister of Justice, had ministerial experience in Bavaria. All the others are new. This alone indicates the opening of a new chapter in the history of the Republic. All but two members of the Cabinet belong to the nobility, and five of these are titled. The Reich Administration is controlled by men of the Right for first time since the revolution. Cabinet was swern in to-day, after which Captain von Papen received Dr Luther, president of the Reichsbank Captain von Papen afterwards issued a communique stating that the Government would not sanction any measures likely to result in inflation. Captoin von Papen’s succession has failed to dispel the public pessimism. The Minister of Defence, General von Schleicher is reported to have said that the regime would last for four years.
