CHURCH OF CHRIST.
Foundation of Sunday School Laid. The ceremony of laying thje foundation stone of the Church of Christ Sunday School in Moorhouse Avenue took place this afternoon in the presence of a large attendance of ministers and members of the church. The stone was laid by Mr J. B. M’Bride. The principal addresses were given by Mr E. C. Henricksen, Pastor James Crawford, Dominion President, and Pastor G. D. Verco, minister at Ashburton. The building, with furnishings, will cost £2500.
